1	Agent / Export Forwarder Training

3	Logon using the Assigned Export Forwarder Username and Password Select the AMS Icon from the Top Menu Bar
4	From the Main AMS Screen Select ADD then NEW to Start a NEW Manifest Note: Export Forwarder can create Templates to assist themselves in creating Manifests for repetitive Shipments.
5	From the Activity Parties Screen create the required companies that will be used to create the Manifest for Transmission to US Customs. The Export Forwarder will be the code and address for your company. Pull can be used if you know the pre-defined company code Search can be used to find your Code if you do not know it. Repeat this process until you have all the Parties completely filled in. Note: If you do NOT have a code for any of the parties pre-defined you can type in the complete address information and save the record.
6	After you have filled out the Manifest Header completely entering all data elements containing a red * and the Carrier MBL Number select Save.
7	From the Manifest Summary screen select the Containers Button then Select ADD
8	Completely fill out the Container screen. Note Container measurements are NOT required if the Description Code and Equipment type Fields have been entered of searched for. Select Save when you have completed the Information.
9	From the Manifest Container Summary Screen select the details button and select ADD.
10	Enter the Line Item details for the container for each individual commodity you are shipping. Use the HTS Look-up or make sure you use a proper commodity description. Repeat this process for each commodity to be shipped for this Consignee/Shipper Supplier combination within this container. And select SAVE. Note if you are shipping HAZMAT materials select the HAZMAT Flag button before you hit save. An Additional HAZMAT screen will automatically appear. Select SAVE. Enter additional Commodities as required. When done Select the AMS Button.
11	The Manifest you just created is now ready to send to US Customs. Select the Manifest number you just created and Select SEND
12	Answer OK to the Pop up box that asked you if you are sure you want to send this manifest to us customs.
13	If you have not complete the requirements the application will ask you to enter any missing information. I the manifest has passed all the required checks it will be sent to US Customs.
